Two-factor Authentication (2FA) stands for your data and balance protection first and foremost. When you register in Adsterra as an advertiser, you have this option turned on by default.
How does it work?
The standard 2FA flow:
Enter your Adsterra account using your login and password
See a notification about visiting your email for authentication
Find the email in your inbox, open it, click the link inside to confirm your authentication.
Please note: The link is valid for 20 minutes. As soon as they’re expired, you will be redirected to the authorisation page, where you should enter your credentials again and log in.
After clicking the link you will get into your Account and see a notification asking to choose between two options:
TRUST THIS DEVICE (if chosen, next time you log in via the same device, only the credentials are needed)
NOT NOW (if chosen, you will have to always verify the login by confirming the authorisation via email each time you log in).
!Every log in from the new device or from the Incognito mode would require verification via email.
How can I turn 2FA off?
Although we strongly recommend not to turn it off, there are two ways to do so:
Manually in your Account by unticking the checkbox in the Security section > Save changes (you will need to confirm the action via email)
By your manager due to your request.
We strongly recommend keeping 2FA enabled to ensure the security of your data and balance.
